Install Exovo.
Blank server to setup wizard in minutes.
Boot the installer ISO on a blank virtual machine or server, or run one command on a Linux server you already have. Either way a guided wizard finishes the setup in your browser. The full walkthrough is in the installation guide.
- A virtual machine or server, not an LXC container
- 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 20 GB of disk, plus space for recordings
- BIOS or UEFI, with Secure Boot on or off
- Internet access during install and first boot
- Your Exovo license key
From the ISO
Boot it
Attach the ISO to a new virtual machine, or write it to a USB drive for a physical server, and choose Install Exovo.
Answer a few questions
DHCP or a static address, the server's name, a root password, the time zone and which disk to use. The disk you choose is erased. Everything else, including Docker, is installed for you in about ten minutes.
Open the wizard
After the restart, the server's screen shows a QR code, plus an address and a short code to type. Open either on your phone or computer and the onboarding wizard takes it from there.
Already have a Linux server?
With Docker Engine 24 or later and Docker Compose v2 installed, run this as root:
curl -fsSL https://get.exovo.tel/onboard | sudo bash
Always the current release
The ISO installs the operating system and setup tools. The phone system itself downloads when the wizard runs, so an older ISO still installs the latest stable Exovo. The setup script it downloads runs only if its signature checks out.
Connecting your staff
Once your system is running, your team can use the web client, desk phones or the Exovo apps.
