Video meetings
Meet in the web client is Exovo's video conferencing: face-to-face meetings with screen share, chat and recording, running entirely on your own PBX. Video is mixed on your server and delivered over the same WebRTC stack the softphone uses — nothing is relayed through a third-party meeting cloud, and guests join from a plain browser link with nothing to install.
The Meet lobby
Open Meet in the web client's navigation. The lobby shows:
- Your meeting — your personal, always-on meeting room. Start Now takes you straight in.
- Join a colleague's meeting — enter their extension to drop into their room.
- Upcoming — meetings you've scheduled, with Today called out.
- Phone dial-in — the number outside callers dial to join meetings by phone.
When you start your meeting, a toast pops with the guest link and a Copy link button, so sharing the room with someone outside the company is one click — see guest access.
In the meeting
Every participant sees a composited video grid, switchable between Grid and Speaker layouts. Participants without a camera (or with it switched off) still get a tile showing their initials, so a mixed room of video and audio-only people stays readable. The full toolkit — screen share, chat, reactions, virtual backgrounds, recording — is covered in in-meeting features.
Video quality
Admins choose the meeting picture quality under Admin → Call Features → Conferencing: 480p (bandwidth-friendly), 720p HD (the default), or 1080p Full HD. Higher quality uses more server CPU per meeting and more bandwidth per participant; the setting applies to meetings started after saving.
